Roger Lima is such a great bassist! His lines are so melodic and memorable. It's tough to hear the bass in some spots but I did my best. It's a new type of Fender Squire
Squier Paranormal Rascal Bass. I've had my eye on them since they released but the bridge position being pushed forward has kept me from buying until I can try one. It's a short scale bass but the same overall length as a regular fender jazz bass.
Who played bass on this songs on the original album? Obviously wasn't Jaco, although I believe he played on one tune. BTW, got to see this tour and was blown away! I was just starting to get into jazz and didn't realize how big a talent I was seeing at the time, but was still just blown away by them!

@@GrimpleGromble my father had a run in with mr hubek. Southern cross opens for molly hatchet one night my dad plays a strat 72 which is important for later. At some point they are in their dressing room and they get a knock at the door. Mr hubek wanted to speak to them he goes who was playing the strat my dad raises his hand and he goes what year is it and he says 72 then hubek goes oh i can afford the old ones. Mind you mr hubek was wearing a silver fur coat and had jewelry on with probably some ostrich or crocodile leather boots on. If you want you can check out southern cross on all streaming platforms it should say scb 50th anniversary as the logo
